- The service does not collect any information in an automated manner, apart from information included in cookie files.
- Cookies are text files containing data, stored on the service user’s end device and used for accessing the service. Cookies usually contain the originating website’s name, the time of storage on the user’s end device and a unique number.
- The company placing cookie files on the user’s end device and having access to them is the service operator: OTCF S.A. with its registered office at ul. Saska 25C, 30-720 Kraków.
- Cookie files are used in order to:
- Adjust the website’s content to the user’s preferences; in particular the files allow the recognition of the user’s end device and appropriately display the website content to their needs;
- Create statistics which help understand how service users make use of websites, which allow the improvement of their content and structure;
- Display special advertisements by Google AdWords to visitors of the internet website;
- Automate marketing processes, such as movement analysis on the website.
- As part of the service two principal types of cookies are used: ‘session cookies’ and ‘persistent cookies.’ Session cookies are temporary files stored on the user’s end device until they log off, leave the website or turn off their software (website browser). Persistent cookies are stored on the user’s end device for a set period within the cookies’ parameters, or until removal by the user.
- The following sorts of cookies are used as part of the service:
- ‘essential’ cookies, enabling the available services, e.g. authorising cookies used in requiring authentication within the service;
- cookie files which provide safety, e.g. used to detect unauthorised access to the service;
- ‘efficient’ cookies, allowing collection of information on how the service’s websites are being used;
- ‘functional’ cookies allowing the saving of users’ settings and personalising details of the user’s interface, e.g. a chosen language or user’s region, font size, website layout, etc.;
- ‘advertising’ cookies allowing the delivery of adjusted advertising content matching the user’s interest.
- In many cases software for viewing internet websites (internet browser) by default allow the storage of cookie files on the user’s end device. Service users can adjust these settings, in particular automatically block cookie files in their browser’s settings or inform the user each time when a cookie is placed on their device. Detailed information about various options and ways of dealing with cookies can be found in the internet browser’s software settings.
- The service operator informs that limiting cookie files may influence some functionalities offered on the service website.
- Cookie files stored on the service user’s end device can also be used by advertisers or partners working with the service operator.
- For more information about cookies see the Help section of your internet browser.
