A special presentation of the PyeongChang 2018 collection for the Latvian Olympic Team, to be worn during the Winter Olympic Games in PyeongChang, was held on 22 November, in Riga. Each set of sportswear consists of outfits for the Opening Ceremony, trainings as well as casual wear and a wide range of accessories – 45 items in total.
We did our best to combine modern technologies in this collection, for example, high-quality breathable seamed fabrics, waterproof materials and traditional Latvian elements. The colors of the collection are a white, gray and Latvian shade of red, besides the design of the collection is complemented by a national scythe, which symbolizes the strength and unity of the team – says Igor Klaja, the head of the OTCF company, who owns the 4F sportswear brand.
Today we are presenting the second collection of clothes of the Latvian Olympic delegation, which was created together with the sports brand from Poland 4F. The official supplier of equipment for the Latvian Olympic delegation 4F has grown significantly since the beginning of our cooperation, and already now provides sports clothes for six Olympic committees from Europe: the committees of Poland, Serbia, Greece, Croatia, Macedonia and Latvia - commented Aldons Vrublevskis, president of the Latvian Olympic Committee. Thanks to designers and the whole creative team 4F, who helped to create clothes for the Olympic team of Latvia. We are sure that clothes made by 4F will help our sportsmen reach their goals in the PyeongChang 2018 Winter Olympics and other major sports events from 2018 to 2020. We wholeheartedly support our Team, who will be defending the country’s honour in PyeongChang. New visual identity of the Latvian team allowed us to look good and be proud of ourselves already at the Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro in August 2016. Therefore, I hope that clothes prepared for the Winter Olympic Games in Pyeongchang will allow our athletes to stand out against the background of other countries.
Latvia will be one of six countries to compete in the PeongChang Olympic Games wearing the 4F brand.
